A Pint in Motion at the Hands on Museum
On September 15th we had the pleasure of joining the Hands on Museum in downtown Ann Arbor for an evening at their A Pint in Motion event. The event allowed adults time to relax and explore the museum while enjoying Tex-Mex food and beer and wine. The museum asked us to participate to show people how we keep dogs ‘in motion’ with rehabilitation.
Three of our lovely patients and their fur parents joined us for the evening. Tigger, the Great Dane with genetic deformities; Roxy, the Shepherd mix with a leg amputation; Daisy, the Pug with neurologic defects who cruises in a wheelchair. Moonshine, our technician Anna’s dog, also joined in on the fun. The dogs thrived with all the attention and were able to demonstrate how great their quality of life is despite their disabilities.
We had such a great time at this event and are looking forward to participating in more events in the future!
